As a visionary, speaker and serial entrepreneur, she is passionate about recognizing the achievements of women in order to advance women personally and professionally. She is committed to gender equality and fostering a network where diversity, innovation, recognition, mentorship are valued. Monica’s mission is to inspire women to lead with a purpose and prosper in business and life.
Since launching in 2014, Monica has broken traditional barriers and silos by embracing collaboration and diversity. She initially created Women of Inspiration Awards to recognize a woman who helped her overcome adversity during a Seven Journey in the justice system with 4800 hundred hours of litigation, 22 days of trial and 56 + court appearances. Monica’s personal story of resilience fuels her purpose to recognize the achievements of women making an impact locally, nationally and globally. She has celebrated over 700 women, awarded 150 Awards, interviewed hundreds of women and produced over 80 events. Monica’s mission is to inspire women to lead with a purpose and prosper in business and life.
Monica’s vision for 2020 and beyond is Universal, creating an inclusive & sustainable network to elevate inspiring women and the men who SupportHER™, work with like-minded organizations committed to gender equality, forge strategic partnerships with government agencies, economic development and key stakeholders to advance women in business.
